Empowered by DIYDG partners with grassroots Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community groups to help them grow into strong, sustainable organisations that deliver lasting local impact.
We wrap mentoring, governance support and back-of-house shared services around emerging groups so they can focus on the work that matters most for their community.

Volunteer & mentor roles
Governance mentor
1–2 days per quarter
Sit alongside emerging boards during meetings and workshops, sharing governance experience.
Experienced directors, senior managers, community elders.
Grants & reporting buddy
2–4 hrs per grant round
Help small groups draft grant applications and acquittal reports in plain English.
